CCONTENT ANALYSIS (2) 内容の分析

　　Under the leadership of Paul Lazarsfeld and Harold Lasswell, later to become

well-known communication theorists, it was decided that we would do an analysis

of the content of the German newspapers, which we could get----although some

days after publication.

    　　　　　　後に著名なコミュニケーション理論家になるポール・ラザーフェルドと

ハロルド・ラスウェルの指導のもと、発行日を数日過ぎることがあっても、入手できる

ドイツの新聞の内容を分析することが決定された。

の to Mars の to と同じで、「 〜 へ到達する 」ということを表すので、

to become は「 これから become が実現する 」という内容になります。


was decided  の、『助動詞』was が示す『過去』の時を基準にして、

その先の時点において、become が実現します。


 **  何がこれから become するのか、というと、

つまり、Paul Lazarsfeld and Harold Rasswell 　と　to become は、

S   V  のような関係になります。


ただし、to become は、これだけでは V になれませんから、

あくまで S V に準ずる関係です（ s' v'  ) 。
