     Lugh was one of the most widely known and honored deities.

Another whose worship is found across the broad range of Celtic lands is Brigid, whose name is variously written as Brid, the Catholic St. Bridget or St. Brigid, and Brigantia, from whom the tribe of Brigantes in northern England took their name.

もう一人 [ その崇拝は、見出される  /  ケルト人の土地の広い範囲にわたって ] は、ブリギッドだった、 /  その名前は、Brid、カトリックの St. Bridget あるいは St.Brigid、そして Brigantia [ そこから、北部イングランドの Brigantes 族は、その名前を採った ] のように、様々に表記されている。

It's even possible, according to some sources, that her name was transmuted into Britannia, from which we get the names Britain and Brittany.    

幾つかの出典によれば、彼女の名前が変化させられて Britannia となって、/  そこから、私たちが Britain と Brittany という名前を持つようになった、/  というのは、可能性が大いにある。
